Pretty amazing food. Tasted really good. Had a couple of drinks as well. No complaints, pretty big party and the waitress had everything under control. Ordered steak and it was delicious and cooked to perfection. My husband’s food was as well. Every one was happy with their meal and drinks.
First time here and will definitely be back when passing through. Food is amazing and cooked to perfection, compliments to the chef. Atmosphere is excellent and i really enjoyed their special Manhattan drink with my prime steak burger. My companions had a great time and we really enjoyed it. Staff is super friendly and we didn’t have to wait long for our food.
We stopped in for lunch on a Monday on our way through Somerset. The building is huge, has multiple seating areas, a long bar, a shuffleboard table, and several billiard tables. We were met at the entrance by a friendly greeter and seated at the table near the windows. Kelsey, our server, met us at the table and brought us drinks, including an excellent local ale. The white bean chili (soup of the day) was hearty and had an excellent flavor and just enough bite from the jalapenos. It was great as a cup and in a bread bowl, but the cup seemed to have more volume. The Charred Oak Club sandwich was a generous size and had a nice, subtle flavor. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely return.

The staff was attentive and made us feel right at home.The atmosphere at Charred Oak Grill is simply wonderful. It’s a perfect blend of cozy and lively, making it an ideal spot for a family dinner or a casual night out. The decor is tasteful, and the ambiance is warm and inviting.Our meal was delicious, with each dish prepared to perfection. Whether you’re a fan of steaks, seafood, or burgers, there’s something on the menu for everyone. We particularly enjoyed the unique cocktails and the extensive selection of bourbons and whiskeys.Overall, Charred Oak Grill exceeded our expectations in every way. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a fantastic dining atmosphere.
Great place to dine or to just have cocktails. The decor is warm and inviting, clean and modern, and the food is delicious. I visited for a cocktail before attending a show at the nearby ‘Virginia’ and again for a burger after the show. I loved that the bar even crafted a special cocktail to give a nod of festivity to the Virginia’s Edgar Allen Poe production.
